Overwatch Geospatial will be aiding the humanitarian efforts in Myanmar by providing two licenses of Feature Analyst Pro to the Global Humanitarian Data Center Project. Volunteers will use the program to assess damage to the rice paddy network and also to establish a recovery program for future natural disasters. More information to follow soon!

Overwatch Geospatial announces the release of RoadTracker™ as an extension to its award-winning feature-extraction program, Feature Analyst^®. RoadTracker, developed in conjunction with GeoEye, accelerates the collection of roads and other linear features from satellite or aerial imagery. RoadTracker works by automatically tracing the centerline of a feature between two defined endpoints. RoadTracker also includes automatic feature attribution and other ‘smart editing’ tools that save organizations time and money by greatly improving speed, accuracy, and overall workflow in the collection of map-quality linear features. LIDAR Analyst 4.2 is available as an extension for ArcGIS^® and ERDAS IMAGINE^®. This recently-released version of the original commercially-available LIDAR (light detection and ranging) data processing software provides clients with an even more powerful solution to the problem of collecting 3D terrain and geospatial features from airborne LIDAR data.

Feature Analyst version 4.2, the latest edition of the award-winning software, named "Most Innovative Solution" by ESRI in 2002, is available for ArcGIS^®, ERDAS IMAGINE^®. Feature Analyst version 4.1 is available for GeoMedia^®, and SOCET SET^®.

VLS has issued an exciting new addition to its exceptional line of software extensions for ArcGIS^®: Urban Analyst™. This software provides an outstanding interface for interactive 3D visualization. Urban Analyst provides a third set of map making tools that accentuates the positive aspects of its other software: Feature Analyst^® and LIDAR Analyst^®.
